Abstract

|
The authors studied on presence and serological characters of phytohemoagglutinin in saline extracts of various mushrooms native to Korea.
Among these, with the use .of the saline extracts?of: Lactarius A.T. and Clavaria A.F., agglutination reaction with the human blood cell were studied, and the titer of agglutinins, absorption reactions, effects of temperature, and effects of the saliva and various sugars on agglutination inhibition were studied as well in the present paper with the following conclusions.
Non type specific phytohemoagglutinins were found in Lactarius A.T. and Clavaria A.F. and the serological natures were studied.
